Eaton Aerospace Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Precision Inspector A for the 2nd shift. Responsibilities include in-process and incoming inspections of highly complex, close-tolerance aerospace components using CMM and precision tools. Works under Quality Control management to ensure conformance to drawings and specs.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of experience in mechanical inspection. Position is on-site in LA with standard 2nd shift hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience inspecting highly complex aerospace components.
• No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Los Angeles.

Responsabilités

• Perform in-process and/or incoming dimensional and visual inspections of highly complex aerospace components and assemblies.
• Review and accept documentation used for product acceptance.
• Produce inspection reports to document accept/reject decisions.
• Operate precision measurement equipment including CMM, optical comparator and surface plates.
