Job summary

Eaton Aerospace Group in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Quality Control Inspector B for the 2nd shift. The role involves in-process and outbound inspection of hydraulic, pneumatic, electric and mechanical components to ensure conformance to drawings and quality specs.

Responsibilities include reviewing documentation, generating inspection reports, and applying ASME Y14.5 tolerancing and related QA procedures. Must be within 50 miles of LA facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must reside within 50 miles of LA facility (zip 90039).
• U.S. person required due to export controls.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aerospace sub-assemblies and assemblies visually and dimensionally for conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Review and accept paperwork associated with product acceptance.
• Generate inspection reports to document acceptance or rejection of products.
• Operate measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, gages, surface plates, optical comparator).
• Understand geometric tolerancing per ASME Y14.5; basic DFAR/Nadcap knowledge.
