Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER ITD division is seeking a Quality Inspector II for the 1st shift in Camarillo, CA. Core hours are 6am–2:30pm, Monday–Friday, with an hourly rate of $26–$30. This direct-hire role offers day 1 benefits and requires inspecting parts per drawings and customer specs.

You will perform visual, dimensional, electrical, mechanical, environmental, and chemical inspections, support AS9100 QMS, and document results while maintaining traceability and coordinating corrective actions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of Quality experience in a Manufacturing Environment.
• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of City of Industry will be considered for this position.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to ITAR. All applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by ITAR.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve inspection/test data.
• Able to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and procedures.
• Support AS9100 requirements through the QMS by supporting Quality Best Practices.
• Inspect, evaluate, and formally accept parts, materials, and assemblies in accordance with drawings and customer specs.
• Review and approve inspection data to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
• Read, interpret, and apply drawings, specs, and procedures including dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using appropriate tools and methods.
• Document inspection results and coordinate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain traceability and ensure all inspection records are complete and controlled by procedures.
• Maintain inspection records and assist in corrective/preventive action processes.
