Job summary

Senior Aerospace SSP is seeking an inspector to evaluate machined parts, forgings, stampings, and assemblies for dimensional accuracy and functional usability. The role requires performing first article inspections and maintaining complete inspection records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree; and 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection layout and first article inspection on machined parts, forgings, stampings, and sheet metal forms to determine conformance to dimensions.
• Inspects all types of assemblies, sub-assemblies, final assemblies and installations.
• Records inspection data and completes acceptance test procedures.
• Re-inspects rework to meet requirements.
• Operates precision measuring instruments and gauges to inspect components with tight tolerances.
