A leading aerospace manufacturer in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join their precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have 3–5+ years of aerospace inspection experience and be proficient with inspection tools. Responsibilities include performing in-process and final inspections, conducting First Article Inspections, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. Qualifications

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform in-process and final inspection of precision machined aerospace components

Utilize precision measurement tools including:

• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Height Gages
• Bore Gages
• Comparators
• Surface Plates/Layout Tools

Interpret engineering drawings and specifications

• Conduct and support First Article Inspections (AS9102)
• Document inspection results and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Identify nonconforming parts and follow proper containment procedures
• Support compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards

✅ Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3–5+ years of aerospace inspection experience
• Experience in inspecting precision-machined parts with tight tolerances
• Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T
• Hands-on experience with standard inspection tools
• Comfortable working in a regulated aerospace manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

⭐ Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• CMM operation or programming experience
• Experience with PC-DMIS, Calypso, or similar software
• Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 (FAI), PPAP, PFMEA
• Experience with Net-Inspect or Discus
• Familiarity with JobBOSS or other MRP systems
