Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a Quality Inspector - Level 2 to perform intermediate inspection, read complex blueprints, and apply advanced tooling knowledge. This role supports aerospace manufacturing with strict quality control and reporting requirements.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 10am–6:30pm, with a $1/hr shift differential. Responsibilities include inspecting parts, documenting FAI reports, and handling non-conformances to ensure product integrity.

Qualifications

• Certified in hardness testing and eddy current inspection.
• Able to read complex blueprints and engineering docs.
• Proficient with basic computer skills and shop math.
• Familiar with BQMS processes and aerospace terminology.
• Experience using manual inspection tools and writing reports.

Responsibilities

• Inspect fastener installation, sealant, raw material and machined parts.
• Document FAI reports and non-conformances.
• Perform occasional special projects as needed.
• Maintain quality standards and communicate results clearly.
