Job summary

Aerotek in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 1st shift (6am–2:30pm) to inspect aerospace components and ensure conformance to drawings, GD&T, and process standards. You will read blueprints, perform First Article inspections (AS9102), and maintain quality records using precision measuring tools.

The ideal candidate has experience with micrometers, calipers, and CMM inspection, and is familiar with AS9100. Training on Verisurf software and use of Faro/Romer arms is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection, quality control, and CNC machine shop inspection.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and precision measuring tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
• Experience with First Article, in-process, and final CMM inspection.
• Familiarity with Faro Arm or Romer Arm inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on precision aerospace components to ensure compliance with customer, engineering, and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, GD&T, and material/process standards.
• Complete inspection documentation, including First Article Inspection Reports (AS9102) and quality records.
• Verify product conformity using precision measuring tools.
• Review manufacturing paperwork and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation.
• Support compliance with AS9100 quality standards.
• Identify nonconforming products for corrective action.
• Utilize computer systems to enter inspection data, generate reports, and maintain quality records.
• Interpret material certifications, special process documentation, and applicable aerospace industry standards.
