Job summary

Aerospace manufacturer in Milford, CT is seeking a Quality Inspector to join its manufacturing team on a full-time basis. The role is on the 1st shift, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime opportunities.

You will inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products, use calipers, micrometers, and gauges, document results, and verify adherence to quality standards before onward production or shipment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in quality inspection, quality control, or manufacturing.
• Familiarity with quality control processes, inspection techniques, and measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify defects and nonconformances.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products according to established quality standards and specifications.
• Use measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product dimensions and compliance with requirements.
• Document inspection results, including identifying and recording nonconformances and defects.
• Ensure all materials and products meet quality requirements before proceeding to the next stage of production or shipment.
