Job summary

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Parker Aerospace in Simi Valley, CA seeks a Quality Engineer 2 (Manufacturing) to implement the Quality Management System and ensure products meet engineering drawings, specs, and regulatory requirements.

You will support design controls, inspection plans, and assembly process controls, collaborating with internal teams and suppliers while responding to customer inquiries and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Execute the development, implementation and the continued improvement of the Quality Management System for the assigned product lines.
• Will work with internal Team Members and outside suppliers and customers. Will participate on and lead cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and disposition non-conforming material and customer returns in a timely manner. Work with supplier quality to put in place inspection plans for receiving inspection and suppliers. Ensure customer requirements are flown-down to suppliers.
• Effectively communicate in oral and written form in order to present information and respond to questions from Team Members, Suppliers and Customers
• Create compliance matrices for customer specifications, quality requirements, and contractual documents
• Author and tailor quality assurance plans
