Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Columbus, GA, onsite weekend shift is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Inspection to ensure quality compliance in inspection operations and on-time delivery while driving efficiency. You will lead a team handling forging, disks, and airfoil components with a focus on safety and process discipline.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 2+ years in engineering/quality, or an equivalent combination per the posted qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher with 2+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality or related field
• Associate's degree with 4+ years in relevant environment
• High School diploma/GED with 6+ years in relevant environment

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by driving a safety-first culture
• Train and develop Inspection Team
• Lead a team to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost objectives
• Document quality requirements and implement improvements
• Provide transparency on quality operations performance and plans
• Collaborate with quality and manufacturing engineering on concerns and improvements
• Lead continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency
• Be available for shift overlap
