Job summary

Cirrus in Duluth, MN is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector 2 to ensure aerospace products and processes meet engineering, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. You will lead quality control, perform inspections, maintain records, and support corrective actions across manufacturing operations.

The role requires at least 2 years of aerospace QA/QC experience, familiarity with AS9100/NADCAP/FAA standards, and ability to read drawings.

Qualifications

• GED/HS Diploma is required.
• Familiarity with AS9100/NADCAP/FAA standards and inspection tools.
• At least 2 years in aerospace QA/QC, preferably in manufacturing or assembly.
• Solid understanding of aerospace materials, processes and testing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and inspect to drawings, specifications, and requirements.
• Verify product and documentation compliance with customer and regulatory standards.
• Lead quality control activities to ensure conformance and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain inspection records and non-conformance reports.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Perform audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and leadership.
