Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience performing Quality Inspections.
• 3+ years of experience with QA specifications and non-conformance.
• 3+ years of experience with blueprints and standard operating procedures.
• 1+ year reading aerospace engineering drawings.
• 3+ years using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Ability to lift 20 lbs or more.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Initiates corrective actions with Manufacturing, ATLO, and Engineering.
• Maintains systems for quality and traceability of materials and products.
• Collaborates with Design and Manufacturing Engineering on quality issues.
• Monitors processes via audits to ensure compliance with specs.
• Documents discrepancies during manufacturing and testing.
• Performs verifications and records results clearly.
• Supports other inspection areas as needed.
• Develops, implements, and audits inspection/test plans and criteria.
• Facilitates root-cause analysis with production teams.
• Assists in audits and systems surveys.
• Makes recommendations for process improvements.
• Demonstrates MES system knowledge (JIRA, Costpoint).
