Job summary

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master’s with 2+ years.
• Experience with non-conforming material and root cause/corrective actions.
• Experience writing QMS documentation for AS9100.
• Ability to interpret contract quality clauses and develop QA procedures including AS9102 FAI.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office.
• Excellent teamwork and communication.
• Able to read blueprints/schematics and CAD models.
• Lift up to 35 lbs.
• Resident of Colorado Springs area or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing, assembly, integration and testing for aerospace/defense.
• Develop inspection/test procedures and process plans; review nonconformance docs; support CAPA.
• Participate in site quality planning and QA activities.
• Develop QA checklists; review drawings and process plans.
• Ensure quality attributes are built into processes and work instructions.
• Perform inspections of components and assemblies.
• Document nonconforming materials and dispositions.
• Collect Quality Metrics and drive corrective actions with teams.
• Lead internal quality audits and root-cause analysis initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 and customer/regulatory requirements.
