Job summary

Leidos' Defense Systems - Colorado Manufacturing Facility seeks a Quality Inspector for the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) to ensure machined components meet drawings and GD&T. You will create data packs, support AS9102, and track non-conformances in a fast-paced environment that supports mission‑critical defense systems.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in aerospace quality inspection, experience reading drawings, and familiarity with CMMs/GOM, ISO9001/AS9100, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience measuring with micrometers, calipers, height gauges.
• 3–5 years of quality inspection in aerospace manufacturing.
• Experience in ISO9001/AS9100 environments.
• Proficient in inspection reporting and data packages.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites; lift up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components and assemblies.
• Identify and document nonconformances and support root cause analyses.
• Read, interpret, and understand drawings and specs.
• Create and compile acceptance data packages for customer approval.
• Prepare AS9102 reports and related quality documentation.
• Operate CMMs and GOM equipment to tight GD&T tolerances.
• Support corrective actions and calibration activities.
