Job summary

Radius Aerospace in Chandler, AZ is seeking an Inspector, Associate to join the Machine Shop. The role focuses on visual and dimensional inspection of parts and assemblies using CMM, FARO arms, and standard inspection fixtures.

You will verify conformance to blueprints, perform receiving and final inspections, and help maintain calibration records. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of related experience, with GD&T and CQI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED certificate or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum two (2) years related experience including but not limited to basic trigonometry, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, surface plate layout.
• FARO Arm and/or Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) experience highly preferred.
• Geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T), Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) experience/certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect visually in-process and completed units and subsystems using predetermined methods, setups, and specifications.
• Inspect and/or test raw materials or processed, machined, fabricated, or assembled parts for defects or deviations.
• Use precision measuring instruments and complex test equipment as needed.
• Plan inspection methods and verify conformance to blueprints and tool designs.
• Perform receiving, in-process and final inspection with CMM and FARO arms.
• Maintain gage calibration history files and certifications.
