Job summary

Magellan Aerospace, located in Haverhill, seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and maintain quality plans for manufacturing processes of aerospace components. You will monitor process metrics, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions with suppliers and customers to ensure top quality.

The role emphasizes GD&T proficiency, process documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain continuous improvement in a high-precision environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and inspection methods for high-precision aerospace components.
• Experience in quality engineering within aerospace machining environments.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop/implement/improve manufacturing process quality plans
• Create process documentation (CA&V, ICP, PFMEA)
• Review/disposition of non-conformance and facilitate root cause review/assignment
• Monitor Process quality metrics and initiate improvement plans
• Implement corrective actions and monitor sustainment
• Interface with suppliers to develop/troubleshoot process issues
• Interface directly with customers to address quality concerns
• Present process metrics using Microsoft PowerPoint
