Job summary

Magellan Aerospace Middletown is seeking a Quality Engineer II to determine, plan, disseminate, and control quality requirements per procedures and specifications. The role includes mentoring the quality team and collaborating with manufacturing engineers on process, tool, and gage development.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good communication and ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and regulations.
Experience with APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC and PPAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

Determine, plan, disseminate and control quality requirements per procedures and specs.
Mentor and collaborate with the quality team; lead with strong technical abilities.
Review design for manufacturability and inspectability; ensure corrective actions are implemented.
