Job summary

Senra Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer to build and scale quality systems for aerospace and defense manufacturing. You will partner with production, manufacturing engineering, and leadership to ensure high-reliability products as we ramp production.

This hands-on role blends factory-floor problem solving with structured quality systems development, investigating issues, implementing corrective actions, and strengthening process controls to support a high-performance operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-6+ years in manufacturing quality engineering, preferably in aerospace/defense/electronics.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with control plans, inspection plans, FMEA, and SPC.
• Strong data analytics to identify patterns in manufacturing issues.
• Hands-on work with production teams on the factory floor.

Responsibilities

• Investigate production quality issues, identify root causes, implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Partner with production and manufacturing engineering to resolve defects and yield issues.
• Lead structured problem-solving with 5 Whys, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis.
• Develop and improve process controls for repeatable manufacturing outcomes.
• Support standard work, inspection plans, and process validation.
