Beehive Industries is seeking a Quality Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing quality and inspection activities at our Knoxville facility. You will work with senior engineers to interpret drawings, perform basic GD&T checks, collect inspection data, and help maintain QMS documentation in a fast-paced machining environment.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years of quality/manufacturing experience, a relevant engineering degree, and a willingness to learn root cause analysis and basic metrology.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• 0–2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or engineering roles.
• Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in manufacturing or quality environments preferred.
• Exposure to aerospace, machining, or precision manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Support dimensional and visual inspection using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and height gauges.
• Interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T under guidance from seniors.
• Document inspection data for quality records, reports, and FAI packages.
• Assist in setup and execution of inspection plans and control plans as directed.
• Support SPC data collection and basic reporting (control charts, process monitoring).
• Maintain QMS documentation including inspection records and calibration logs.
• Identify and document nonconforming materials using established processes.
• Assist with root cause investigations by gathering data (5 Whys, basic tools).
• Support CMM and comparator inspection activities under supervision.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality to support production inspection needs.
• Follow AS9100 requirements and maintain procedures and documentation standards.
• Use MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint to support data entry, reporting, and documents.
• Keep inspection areas organized and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Adhere to EHS policies, PPE, and hazard reporting.
