Ontic in Creedmoor, NC, is hiring a Quality Engineer to develop and implement aerospace quality standards for products and processes. You will report to the Quality Engineering Supervisor and work onsite in Creedmoor, NC, supporting AS9100 and FAA regulatory requirements.

The role demands 3+ years in aerospace quality engineering, strong problem-solving skills (8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa), and proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in aerospace quality engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
• Experience with continuous improvement principles.
• Proficient in problem-solving tools: 8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement aerospace quality standards for products and processes.
• Document quality procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct inspections and audits of aerospace products and processes.
• Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
