Job summary

Ontic is seeking a Quality Engineer for the Creedmoor, NC site to lead aerospace quality initiatives. You will report to the Quality Engineering Supervisor and develop procedures to ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations, while coordinating inspections and corrective actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in quality assurance/engineering and 3+ years in aerospace quality engineering, with strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of aerospace quality engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and FAA regulations; ISO 9001 knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement aerospace quality standards and procedures.
• Document quality procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure products meet standards and coordinate inspections and audits.
• Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with departments to meet safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage customer complaints and RMA processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in aerospace quality.
• Continuously improve the company's QMS.
