Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. seeks a Quality Inspector to join our Creedmoor, NC site. This onsite role reports to the Quality Manager and requires demonstrated expertise in aerospace quality control, inspection methods, and regulatory standards.

You will inspect incoming materials, perform first article inspections, maintain traceability, and coordinate with internal/external teams to resolve non-conformances. Strong reading of drawings and usage of inspection tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace quality control and regulatory standards.
• Proficient in reading drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with CMM and inspection tools.
• Ability to perform First Article Inspections.

Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials and conduct tests per specs.
• Maintain traceability per customer and company requirements.
• Perform first article inspections and document results.
• Contain non-conforming material and coordinate corrective actions.
