Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing Inc. in Creedmoor, NC, seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and implement quality standards for aerospace products and processes.

You will document procedures and work instructions, and perform inspections to ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA regulations. You will also resolve quality issues, drive corrective actions, and work with other departments to meet safety and regulatory requirements while managing customer complaints and RMAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, engineering or related field is required.
• 3+ years in aerospace quality engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of AS9100 and FAA regulations.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and other quality standards.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement principles and practices.
• Proficient in problem-solving tools (8D, 5-Why, A3, Ishikawa).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and project tools.
