Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure products meet AS9100/ISO 9001 standards, manage performance, audits, and drive continuous improvement.

You will oversee FAI, NPI transitions, RCCA investigations, and process improvements, collaborating with engineering and suppliers. This full-time, on-site role includes travel up to 5% and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 5–10+ years in quality, manufacturing, or hardware engineering in aerospace/defense/UAS
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficiency in GD&T and IPC soldering/assembly standards
• Working knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001 or other major Quality Management Systems
• Strong collaboration and communication with internal and external groups

Responsibilities

• Oversee production by monitoring operations and enforcing quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve FAIs per AS9102 requirements.
• Coordinate NPI transitions with Engineering for flawless mass production.
• Lead RCCA investigations and MRB activities to resolve defects.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001, define inspection criteria and test procedures.
• Review drawings as part of pre-release drawing review.
• Collaborate with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes using PFMEA.
• Participate in internal quality audits and other assigned duties.
