Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Design Quality Engineer to ensure drawing compliance and optimize design-to-manufacture processes for aerospace hardware. You will review mechanical and electrical drawings against ASME Y14.5 GD&T and IPC-A-610/WHMA-A-620 standards, enforce drafting rules, and lead root-cause analysis of defects.

This full-time, on-site role requires 3–5+ years in aerospace quality engineering, a bachelor’s in engineering, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• Understand mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in GD&T and drafting standards.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO9001 quality systems.
• Ability to interface with multiple teams across functions.

Responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings for GD&T compliance.
• Inspect electrical layouts against IPC standards and wiring practices.
• Act as ECO gatekeeper and review design changes.
• Develop and maintain drawing review checklists and SOPs.
• Participate in internal quality audits and root-cause analysis.
