Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Quality Engineer with AS9100D expertise to join our aerospace-focused team in Irvine, CA. You will drive quality assurance and control across programs, interpret customer drawings, and lead corrective actions to ensure compliance with AS9100D/ISO 9001:2015 systems.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA/QC experience, strong problem-solving skills, and ASQ CQE/CSSBB credentials preferred. Competitive pay, full benefits, and growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a technical discipline, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control, with prior Quality Engineering experience required.
• Strong experience with AS9100D and/or ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, FMEA, Control Plans, Fishbone Analysis, and root-cause problem solving.
• Experience interpreting customer drawings, specifications, and internal quality requirements.
• Experience with nonconforming material, internal rejections, customer returns, and corrective actions.
• Exposure to mechanical and/or electrical inspection techniques.
• Experience participating in or conducting internal, customer, supplier, and AS9100 audits.
• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and quality concepts.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• ASQ certifications such as CQE or CSSBB are preferred.
