Job summary

Socket.dev seeks an experienced Quality Assurance professional to lead aerospace QA efforts. You will plan, develop, and maintain quality standards for processes, materials and products while devising testing and inspection procedures.

The role includes data analysis, training, and collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing to drive continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in QA with RCCA, SPC, PPAP proficiency and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering or quality assurance.
• Quality engineering proficiency with RCCA, SPC and PPAP demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Investigate non-conformance issues and determine root cause with corrective action.
• Prepare corrective action responses to customers reporting non-conformance.
• Prepare procedures and work instructions required by AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Evaluate QA processes across inspection, radiography, penetrant, and final/shipping.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing for corrective actions and improvements.
