Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and process sheets.
• Proficiency with SPC and statistical problem solving.
• Ability to prepare manuals and technical instructions.
• Proficiency with computer systems, MS Word, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

• Assists in formulating and maintaining quality assurance plans.
• Coordinates product quality standards with production procedures.
• Investigates and responds to customer complaints regarding product quality.
• Reviews RFQs, identifying special quality considerations.
• Reviews and approves nonconformances for cause, corrective action, and disposition.
• Creates statistical quality systems to control and improve processes.
• Performs quality audits of processes, products, and suppliers.
• Prepares, coordinates, and responds to customer audits with corrective actions.
• Learns and adheres to safety standards and quality system procedures.
