Job summary

RTX is seeking a Quality Engineer to deploy strategic quality initiatives across Aerostructures sites. The role focuses on cross-functional collaboration to meet quality and delivery goals, with a hybrid setup in Riverside, CA or nearby locations.

You will lead deployment of quality processes, support PPAP/APQP, and maintain essential documentation while traveling up to 20%. Strong aerospace quality experience and regulatory knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience.
• Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement standard practices for process improvement across sites.
• Assist deployment of updated quality processes and train teams.
• Support production sites with problem investigations and corrective actions.
• Support production sites with PPAP core tools and APQP requirements.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and customers to support quality activities.
• Maintain records and prepare routine reports.
• Follow QMS procedures and travel up to 20%.
