Neon Aero, Inc seeks a Quality Engineer to support shop floor production in Manchester, CT. You will be the primary quality interface to manufacturing operations, driving product and process quality and ensuring robust quality systems are followed.

You will participate in MRB activities, evaluate non-conforming material, and lead RCCA efforts across cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and improve process capability. Strong GD&T and metrology experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing, composites, or regulated industries preferred.
• Experience with quality systems (AS9100, AS9102, etc.).
• Strong RCCA methodologies (8D, CAPA, etc.).
• Experience with inspection planning and metrology systems (CMM, laser trackers).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings with advanced GD&T.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct day-to-day quality engineering support to manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support production readiness and execution to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets.
• Identify and eliminate quality risks impacting production performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Production to ensure processes are capable and controlled.
• Serve as a Quality Engineering representative in MRB activities.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and support disposition decisions per requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and compliance of dispositions.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve non-conformances.
• Lead RCCA efforts for recurring issues.
