Mercury Systems is seeking a Quality Engineer in NJ to drive continuous improvement and resolve complex quality challenges in a fast-paced aerospace/defense setting. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product excellence from development through production and ongoing manufacturing support.
The role emphasizes RCCA, defect analysis, COPQ initiatives, and adherence to AS9100 while coordinating with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to sustain product quality
Formación
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of quality assurance/engineering in mission-critical environments.
- Experience with RCCA methodologies and defect analysis.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality systems.
Responsabilidades
- Ensure product compliance via functional tests and inspections.
- Review and implement ECOs into manufacturing and supply chain.
- Drive RCCA and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Monitor KPIs and communicate quality status to stakeholders.
- Support audits and ESD/Environmental Control programs.
- Lead non-conforming material and MRB processes.
