Job summary

KBR is seeking a Quality Engineer to develop and implement plans that support Quality department objectives and meet customer contract requirements. You will work with blueprints and mil-specs, oversee NC/MRB processes, and drive corrective actions across departments to ensure reliability and safety.

The role emphasizes leadership in quality issues, participation in program reviews, and collaboration with customers and internal teams to maintain schedule and cost targets in aerospace programs.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of quality experience or 4 to 7 years with an AS degree.
• Broad knowledge of quality assurance or quality engineering.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 regulations.
• US citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and mil-specs per government/customer requirements.
• Monitor NCs and MRB activities to meet milestones.
• Identify production problems related to NCs and implement corrective actions with other departments.
• Provide leadership on quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Participate in program reviews and product cell meetings.
• Support Quality Department FAI inspection activities.
• Serve as liaison between MRB and management to maintain requirements, cost and schedule.
