Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Quality Engineer to apply advanced quality control and AS9100 knowledge with cross-functional teams across operations, engineering, manufacturing, and inspection. You will develop APQP deliverables and lead RCCA/MRB submissions to ensure customer specifications are met.

The role requires GD&T proficiency, data-driven decision making, and experience in aerospace or complex manufacturing environments. Collaboration with customers and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering, or equivalent technical field or 5+ years in manufacturing/industrial/process engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a Quality Engineer role in aerospace/complex manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Ability to analyze data for sound decision making.
• Quality experience working directly with customers.
• Familiarity with DMAIC and 8D problem solving.
• Knowledge of SPC.
• Six Sigma and Lean experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of quality control and quality systems to meet AS9100 and customer requirements.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure quality products.
• Leads RCCAs and MRB submissions for customers.
• Develops APQP (FAIR/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plan) and inspection plans.
• Communicates technical issues and solutions to stakeholders.
• Leads process improvements and defect reduction projects.
• Utilizes Lean, Process Validation, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Maintains and distributes quality metrics/KPIs.
• Leads customer investigations and failure analysis reporting.
