Vivace is seeking a Level 2 Aerospace Quality Engineer to independently support QA initiatives across aerospace manufacturing and engineering operations. You will ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 and lead RCCA/CAPA activities, MRB support, and supplier collaboration.

The role emphasizes quality documentation, inspections, and continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve product quality. Onsite manufacturing environment with collaborative cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering.
• 2–5 years of aerospace quality engineering or related experience.
• Strong understanding of QA practices, regulatory requirements, and aerospace standards (AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA/EASA).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and inspection methods.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, or equivalent documentation.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methods.
• Strong root cause analysis, problem-solving skills, and use of quality tools (5-Why, Fishbone, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional teams and customers.

Mansioni

• Lead the implementation, monitoring, and improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) per AS9100 and ISO 9001.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and process verifications to ensure compliance with drawings and customer requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis and lead RCCA/CAPA activities to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Support MRB activities for nonconforming hardware with recommendations.
• Manage quality documentation including FAIs per AS9102, NCRs, and audit findings.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and improve supplier performance.
• Monitor and report key quality metrics (yield, defects, escapes) and drive improvement projects.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and inspectors; liaise with customers and regulators during audits.
