Job summary

LPI Corporation is seeking a quality/inspection professional to support documentation of quality, inspection, production and process improvement on aerospace products. The role involves developing inspection plans, addressing non-conformances, performing RCA and supporting documentation for new development and supplier changes.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, analyze data, and apply lean methods to reduce waste while ensuring high quality production parts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality, inspection or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of GD&T and aerospace measurement standards.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Minitab; CMM programming a plus; 3D CAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop or review quality inspection plans for new products and legacy parts.
• Coordinate review and resolution of non-conformances.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Review first article inspections and document for new product development and supplier changes.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams with minimal supervision.
• Analyze process data to identify trends and proactively address quality issues.
• Apply lean principles and continuous improvement to optimize processes.
• Perform inspections on production parts.
