Job summary

Howmet Fastening Systems, a unit of Howmet Aerospace, seeks a Quality Engineer II for our Carson, CA facility. You will support customer quality requirements, perform statistical analyses, and drive improvements to tests, processes and products used in aerospace fasteners.

The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, QA procedure updates, and collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and sales to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM required.
• Experience in production/manufacturing quality role with at least 2 years.
• Export-controlled data access and US work authorization required.

Responsibilities

• Review customer complaints and analyze returns to propose corrective actions.
• Analyze statistical data and assist plants implementing quality improvement programs.
• Contribute to annual plant audits and system surveys, and update QA procedures.
