Job summary

Howmet Aerospace seeks a Quality Engineer II (Aerospace) for the Carson, CA site to liaison with customers, drive quality improvements, and ensure adherence to manufacturing specifications.

You will analyze data, perform audits, and support engineering with development issues; travel to customers and suppliers as needed. A STEM degree and 2+ years in quality in manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with at least 2 years in a production/manufacturing quality role.
• Experience in manufacturing quality, familiarity with statistical methods and audits.

Responsibilities

• Review customer complaints and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze data and present in graphical formats to support quality improvements.
• Assist in annual plant audits and system surveys.
• Update Quality Assurance procedures and systems.
• Travel to customers and suppliers as needed.
