Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace in Newburyport, MA is seeking a Quality Engineer I to support zero-defect projects by applying engineering and problem-solving skills. You will assist with inspections, non-conformance management, and documentation while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

This role requires a bachelor's in engineering (or related) and experience with AS9100/NADCAP, CAPA, and supplier quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science or Metallurgy; or 4 yrs aerospace quality engineering exp.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. full-time without sponsorship now or in future.
• ITAR/EAR regulations exposure assumed.

Responsibilities

• Support writing procedures, data collection and analysis.
• Review PO/specs/drawings to ensure quality requirements.
• Assist with First Article Inspections (FAI) and quality plans.
• Maintain quality management system (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards.
