Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Quality Engineer for an onsite contract-to-hire role in Los Angeles, CA. You will investigate supplier and internal non-conformances, perform root-cause analysis, maintain AS9100 compliance, and drive continual improvement across receiving, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

You will review FPIs, manage NCRs/MRB, support ECRs/ECOs, and use ERP (Epicor) to document quality activities while guiding corrective actions with cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years preferred.
• Experience with AS9100 quality management systems and FAIRs to AS9102.
• Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and supplier quality skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Review and close NCRs, participate in MRB and dispositioning of non-conforming materials.
• Manage corrective actions for internal and supplier issues, ensure effectiveness.
• Support ECR/ECO processes and changes to drawings or documentation.
• Review GD&T per drawings and ensure FAIRs comply with AS9102.
• Generate and monitor quality metrics, monitor supplier performance trends.
• Assist audits and maintain AS9100 documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with receiving, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve issues.
• Document quality activities in ERP and support RF/antenna product quality.
