Job summary

Acromil LLC, located in City of Industry, CA, is seeking an Aerospace Quality Engineer to enforce quality controls across procurement, manufacturing and final inspection. The role ensures conformance to ISO 9001/AS9100, reviews plans, and coordinates with suppliers to meet customer specifications.

The candidate will lead audits, manage nonconformance, and drive corrective actions while interfacing with Quality Director and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college/technical training preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years in Quality Engineering and 5 years in Mechanical Inspection or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Generate standard operating procedures.
• Perform complex dimensional and visual inspections per blueprints or specs.
• Audit quality systems for ISO 9001 and AS9100 compliance.
• Maintain Approved Supplier List and Serial Numbers Log; submit Key Characteristic Report.
• Submit and Track Quality Alerts; manage nonconforming parts, corrective and preventive actions.
• Review and approve purchase orders and work orders; ensure compliance with Quality Procedures.
• Oversee program quality from start to finish, including contract review, production and shipment.
