Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Quality Engineer to guarantee aerospace products and processes meet customer requirements, engineering specs, and regulatory standards. You will collaborate with quality, engineering, operations, and supply chain to drive continuous improvement and support safe, reliable components.

You will lead investigations, develop inspection plans, and analyze quality performance data to implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in manufacturing/aerospace/regulatory environment preferred.
• Knowledge of QMS, quality tools, and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, regulatory requirements, and internal quality procedures.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming material, customer escapes, and quality system issues using structured problem-solving methods (8D, RCCA, Five Why).
• Develop, maintain, and improve inspection plans, control plans, and quality procedures.
