Job summary

AAR in the United States is seeking a Quality Engineer to review supplier performance, drive internal audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100/9110/9120, FAA and DoD regulations. The role emphasizes CAPA, supplier development, and conformity verification.

You will lead corrective actions, coordinate with supplier Quality teams, validate drawings, and support inspections and audits to maintain product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Five+ years quality assurance experience in aerospace.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100/9110/9120 and FAA/DOD regulations.
• B.S./B.A. in engineering or related field.
• Experience with NCR, RCCA and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Measure and monitor supplier performance using NCR data and systems.
• Create presentations and lead meetings on supplier performance.
• Issue and track internal and supplier CAPAs.
• Validate conformity to approved engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with supplier Quality to disposition nonconforming product.
• Apply AS9102 First Article Inspection knowledge.
• Support receiving, in‑process and final inspections.
• Investigate quality escapes and RCCA for safety issues.
• Participate in internal, third‑party and customer audits.
• Assist in writing and revising quality/safety system documents.
