Job summary

AAR Corp in the United States is seeking an Engineer, Quality to lead supplier-performance reviews and drive continual improvement across quality systems. You will coordinate audits, analyze NCR data, and ensure conformance to AS9100/9110/9120 and FAA regulations.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to manage corrective actions, and effective communication with suppliers and internal teams to maintain product quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in quality assurance.
• FAA I.A./Designee and ASQ CQA certifications are desirable.
• Minimum five years of quality assurance experience in aerospace.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; good written and verbal communication under stress.

Responsibilities

• Participate in measuring and monitoring supplier performance via NCR data.
• Create PowerPoint presentations and lead supplier performance meetings.
• Issue and follow up on internal and supplier corrective action requests.
• Validate product conformity to approved engineering drawings.
• Coordinate with suppliers' Quality departments on nonconforming products.
• Understand AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements.
• Support receiving, in-process, and final inspections to maintain quality.
• Provide RCCA for quality escapes and safety events as needed.
• Assist quality-system managers with ISO/AS/FAA documentation.
• Participate in internal, third-party, and customer audits.
