Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC in Tampa, FL is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure aerospace products and processes meet requirements and standards. You will partner with quality, engineering, operations, and supply chain to drive improvements, investigate issues, and support compliant, reliable components.

You'll work on audits, inspection plans, and problem solving, with emphasis on data-driven decisions and teamwork in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred with related experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of quality tools and root cause analysis methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with AS9100, customer, regulatory, and internal quality procedures.
• Lead investigations of nonconforming material and quality issues using 8D/RCCA/5 Why.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, control plans, and QA work instructions.
• Perform FAIs (AS9102) and analyze quality performance data for improvements.
• Support audits and close audit findings timely.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
