Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Quality Technician to support QA activities, maintain records, assist with inspections, and drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate with Quality, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to ensure compliance with AS9100 and aerospace standards.

The role emphasizes strong attention to detail, cross-functional teamwork, and timely documentation in a manufacturing setting. Shift is 1st shift, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy are essential.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Experience with ERP, quality management, or document control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Quality Engineers with documentation, concessions, deviations, and first piece approvals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and quality documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain quality records per requirements and support audits.
• Assist with creating and revising work instructions, inspection plans, and QMS documents.
• Track nonconformances and corrective actions; support root-cause investigations.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Verify records prior to shipments and communicate requirements to production teams.
• Maintain calibration records and support document control activities.
