Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co is seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer to ensure product conformity and drive corrective actions within the Quality Management System. You will participate in Corrective Action Board (CAB), review MRB dispositions, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to prevent non-conformances and improve processes.

Strong GD&T, APQP/PPAP, and AS9100 knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related aerospace Quality Engineer experience.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Familiarity with APQP/PPAP package generation.
• Proficiency in ASME Y14.5 GD&T principles.
• Extensive experience with metal manufacturing processes and special processing.
• Demonstrated time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized work areas in compliance with 6S principles.
• Evaluate non-conforming material/product for disposition and corrective actions; act as NC owner and MRB member.
• Review and disposition customer returns and manage CAB actions log.
• Serve as Customer and Supplier liaison for quality concerns and communicate corrective actions.
• Interface with Account Managers, Production Control, Customer Quality Representatives, Suppliers, and Supply Chain.
• Assist in supplier audits and maintaining the STR Approved Supplier List (ASL).
• Provide support during internal and external customer audits and assist in reporting data to management.
