Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to inspect data and product across production to ensure top quality and reliability. The role participates in MRB, CAB, and NC trend analysis, collaborating with Account Managers and Supply Chain to drive corrective actions and supplier improvements.

The successful candidate has 5+ years in aerospace QA, strong GD&T and APQP/PPAP experience, and a proven track record in Lean manufacturing and data-driven quality

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of aerospace Quality Engineer experience.
• Familiar with APQP/PPAP package generation.
• Proficiency in AS9100 and GD&T principles.
• Lean principles training with measurable successes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized work areas in line with 6S.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and dispositions; act as MRB owner.
• Review customer returns disposition and supplier corrective actions.
• Lead Corrective Action Board actions and CAB Log maintenance.
