Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co. is seeking a seasoned Aerospace Quality Engineer to drive non-conforming material control, corrective actions, and MRB processes.

You will lead CAB activities, analyze NC trends, and coordinate with Account Managers, Production Control, QA, suppliers, and supply chain to ensure part conformance. The role requires 5+ years in aerospace quality, GD&T expertise, APQP/PPAP experience, and a strong background in metal manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years aerospace Quality Engineer experience.
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
• Familiarity with APQP/PPAP package generation.
• Proficiency in GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5).
• Extensive experience with metal manufacturing processes and finishing.
• Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized work areas per 6S principles.
• Evaluate non-conforming material and disposition with corrective actions.
• Review customer returns and MRB dispositions.
• Manage Corrective Action system throughput and CAB actions log.
• Serve as Customer and Supplier liaison for quality concerns.
• Follow up with suppliers to meet turnaround times.
• Update logs (NC Trends, CAB Log, CoS Metrics) and reports.
• Interface with Account Managers, Production Control, QA, Suppliers, and Supply Chain.
