Job summary

Superior Thread Rolling Co. is seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee planning and cost estimation for manufacture-complete parts.

You will supervise budgets, master plans, and work instructions while applying lean concepts and single-piece flow to improve efficiency. The role requires strong knowledge of CNC machining, grinding, thread rolling, materials, heat treatments, and fastener manufacturing, with a track record in aerospace-quality environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering/planning in aerospace or precision machining
• Experience creating/Reviewing routers and cost estimates for aerospace parts
• Familiarity with blueprints and GD&T, lean and single piece flow

Responsibilities

• Release accurate manufacturing routers and inspection plans to ensure on-time, profitable delivery
• Create accurate manufacturing quotes and maintain quote-to-job alignment
• Support sales in pricing negotiations to balance customer satisfaction and profitability
• Coordinate with manufacturing on takt time estimates and machining methods
• Maintain and update work instructions, forms, and training aids
• Promote 6S and continuous improvement initiatives
