Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking a Quality Engineer to join the Quality Team at our Auburn, CA/Vian Enterprises location. The role requires working with minimal supervision to ensure products meet industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements, with AS9145 and ISO knowledge.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Suppliers, monitor data, lead root cause analyses, and support audits to sustain high-quality standards across programs.

Qualifications

• AS9145/APQP knowledge and experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• 5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an aerospace environment or similar setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to interact with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure product quality.
• Monitor production data and quality systems to identify and address issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions for process changes.
• Support audits, failure analyses, and reliability testing; report nonconformances and trends.
• Review ECOs, MCOs, deviations and implement data-driven improvements.
